Our Mission Statement:


	The purpose and goal of Calvary Baptist Church is to bring glory to God by carrying out His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). This involves the evangelization of lost men, women and children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the baptism by immersion of born again believers, and the preaching of God's Holy Word to facilitate spiritual growth and maturity in the lives of Christians that they may be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29).

Turn to God

Turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.

Hosea 12:6

I chose v. 6 as our theme verse because we are a people living in a dark and miserable period of history. Following the news, reading the world reports, considering what man glorifies and what man despises; sin abounds! Yet, it does not have to be a dark time…in fact there are glimmers of light still shining all around the world in various places. There are churches, cities, countries where people are being saved and showers of revival are being poured down from heaven. The windows of heaven are still open. God is still saving souls, rescuing families, repairing lives and enabling Christians to live sanctified and separated lives to the glory of God. But what about this nation? What about this city, this church, this people? What about you?

The prophet writes, Turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on your God continually. It all begins with our turning to God.

th Sunday Fellowship

We will have the regular morning service, a brown bag lunch, and then a 1:00p.m. service. Our goal is to encourage fellowship and discussion of the messages of the day.

There will be no evening service.

Join Kid's Clubs

Each Wednesday

Kids4Truth Clubs at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday night, beginning again September 7, 2011. This is a program for children 3 year olds through 6th graders. Please contact Pastor Weesner if you are interested in your children attending.
